Zwei Ledger, dieselbe Wiederherstellungsphrase – kann ich eines davon auf die Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen?

Ich habe zwei Ledger Nano X’s. Der zweite wurde mit der gleichen Wiederherstellungsphrase wie der erste eingerichtet, ist also im Wesentlichen ein Backup. Jetzt möchte ich das zweite Gerät auf die Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen, damit es eine andere Wiederherstellungsphrase hat. Würde das Zurücksetzen irgendetwas mit dem ersten Gerät machen, oder wird es weiterhin so funktionieren, wie es ist?

They can be reset without one affecting the other.

The Ledger is not actually associated with an account. It’s just safeguarding a number, and using that number to sign transactions. Resetting one doesn’t affect the other, so your first one will keep working as expected. If you reset a device (or configure a new device) and use the same seed phrase, it will function exactly as it did before.

In all seriousness , not a problem given you are confident you have the original seed phrases, regardless of it you have it programmed into the ledger or not.

Hey -Resetting your second Ledger Nano X to factory defaults will not affect your first device. The first device will continue working as-is with the original recovery phrase. After resetting the second device, it will generate a new recovery phrase. Remember to safely store this new recovery phrase as it will be needed to recover your second device if necessary.

Not a problem. Does nothing. They are just clones that do the exact same thing. Software doesn’t know or care which one you are using. You can reset both of them as long as you have your seed phrase (and you know it works).

Yes, but maybe just test your original seed phrase (if you haven’t already) with the recovery-check app first.
