Hallo

ich habe gerade die folgende E-Mail erhalten. Ich denke, es ist ein Wunsch/Phising? Ich habe noch keine Maßnahmen ergriffen

Lieber Kunde,

wir bedauern, Ihnen mitteilen zu müssen, dass wir über eine Datenpanne informiert wurden, die vertrauliche Daten von etwa 115.000 unserer Kunden betrifft. Dazu gehören persönliche Informationen, PIN-verschlüsselte private und öffentliche Schlüssel sowie die Menge jeder in der Wallet gespeicherten Kryptowährung.

Sie erhalten diese Nachricht, weil die E-Mail-Adresse, die mit Ihrer Wallet verknüpft ist, in den betroffenen kompromittierten Daten gefunden wurde.

Was ist passiert?

Am Donnerstag, den 29. August 2023, entdeckten unsere Sicherheitsforscher, dass sich eine unbefugte dritte Partei Zugang zu einem der internen Server von Ledger Live verschafft hatte. Wir haben die Sicherheitslücke sofort geschlossen und eine interne und externe Untersuchung der Situation eingeleitet.

Was wir wissen

Zum heutigen Zeitpunkt ist es technisch nicht möglich, das Ausmaß des Sicherheitsverstoßes abschließend zu beurteilen. Obwohl es keine eindeutigen Beweise dafür gibt, dass die Geldbörsen der Nutzer betroffen sind, müssen wir aufgrund der Art des Verstoßes davon ausgehen, dass Ihre Kryptowährungswerte gefährdet sein könnten.

Well, the first error proving it’s a scam is 8/29 (ie today) is tuesday. Given it’s ballsup in the night here (PST), that means they successfully detected a breach (and are giving S-O notice) within 4 hours of the day starting.

Check the email address of the sender, then you can figure out if the email is from a scammer.

I worry about you if you have to ask. There is no such thing as recover a wallet through a link – you are always warned not to click on „urgent“ links, and you can see that, in any case, that link doesn’t even go to the Ledger website. Be careful, never type in your seed phrase in your computer anywhere.
