Hallo Leute,

könnte mir jemand erklären, wie das funktioniert? Ich habe schon viel über die Verbindung von metamask mit trezor gehört, um mehr Möglichkeiten zu haben, aber ich bin skeptisch, wie sicher das ist.

Müsste ich irgendwelche privaten Daten eingeben, um sie zu verbinden? Müsste ich mich bei jeder Transaktion, die ich über metamask durchführe, auf meiner trezor anmelden?

See Trezor as a key and Metamask as the lock.

Any transaction through Trezor (provided its done with a wallet on your Trezor (Hardware wallet) needs to be signed by it. No need to enter any private info. You might have to sign in to Metamask though but that does not compromise any info on your Trezor.

So rest assured, as long as you do NOT enter your seed phrase online (EVER!) your wallet is safe.

How does this work if you have funds locked up in contracts or if you are expecting airdrops to a particular wallet? Can you not use your current metamask wallet to he protected by trezor?

Hi, in Metamask you can use coins that you cannot use in Trezor Suite, as they are not implemented there. That is the main reason why users connect their Trezors to Metamask.

By using Trezor as a hardware tool for accessing the Metamask wallet, your private keys still stay protected by a hardware wallet.

I have a similar question. Is there any way for anything to be transfer off of my wallet once I connect to metamask. Any software or anything that allows a user who has hacked a metamask account but can’t transfer anything off because the trezor isn’t physically connected, but the next time I connect to metamask it would allow transfers to be sent or allow access to my hard wallet?
