Hallo zusammen!

You don’t need your seed phrase.
You just install Ledger Live on the new SSD and then you will add your accounts and you will be able to see all your crypto again 🙂

You did not lose anything. Your coins are not on your computer or your SSD. They are not in Ledger Live or on your ledger device.

I will leave where they are for you to find out. Rest assured they are safe, but you need to do some research on wtf you are doing.

Do not reply to any DM’s claiming to help your or that they are working for Ledger. Scammers all of them.

if you have your seed phrase you’ll never lose access to your funds. Just don’t give it to anyone .

Your keys to access your wallet are not stored on your computer they are stored on the hardware device.

You can use any wallet app compatible with a hardware wallet to send crypto.

That includes noteworthy browser extensions like coinbase wallet and MetaMask

Ledger Live „wallet“ is not important. You actually don’t need it. Its just a tool, to show you data from different blockchains and to prepare unsigned transactions for your Ledger device.

Even your Ledger device is not important.

      Your seed is your treasury!

Hey – Hello! You’re correct, your assets are safe as long as you have your Ledger hardware wallet and your seed phrase. The Ledger Live data is stored on your computer’s hard drive, but your crypto assets are secured on the blockchain and accessed through your Ledger device.

To regain access to your accounts on Ledger Live, you’ll need to reinstall Ledger Live on your new SSD. You can download it from this link: https://www.ledger.com/ledger-live. After installation, you’ll need to add your accounts back to Ledger Live. This process does not require your seed phrase, as your accounts are linked to your Ledger device.

Here are the steps to add your accounts back:
      1. Open Ledger Live and click on „Add account“.
      2. Select the cryptocurrency of the account you want to add.
      3. Connect your Ledger device, unlock it and open the app for the cryptocurrency you selected.
      4. Follow the instructions on the screen to add your account.

Repeat these steps for each cryptocurrency you have. Remember, your seed phrase should be kept safe and used only if you lose access to your Ledger device. Let us know if you have any other questions.
