Hallo Leute,

Mit welcher Software-Wallet kann man seine Seedphrase + Passphrase für eine versteckte Wallet wiederherstellen? Viele Wallets behaupten, kompatibel zu sein, sind aber tatsächlich nicht in der Lage, dies zu tun.

Exodus ist ein gutes Beispiel, es gibt viele Referenzen von vor 2 Jahren, die behaupten, dass Exodus einen solchen Prozess verarbeiten kann, aber sie haben offensichtlich aufgehört, es zu unterstützen oder haben es nie getan. MEW schien auch eine Option zu sein, aber ich sehe nicht mehr die Möglichkeit, etwas anderes als die „Seedphrase“ wiederherzustellen. Es gibt auch Antworten vom Trezor-Team selbst, die auf eine BIP-39-kompatible Wallet-Liste in ihrem Wiki verweisen (die jetzt ein toter Link ist), aber sie ist auch nutzlos, da sie keine Anweisungen darüber enthält, WELCHE Wallet tatsächlich die Wiederherstellung einer versteckten Wallet unterstützt.

Bitte schlagen Sie nicht vor, einen „Ersatz-Trezor“ als Lösung zu haben, der ganze Punkt ist zu vermeiden, einen Trezor im Notfall zu benötigen.

Can you clarify what exactly you are looking for?

1. Are you trying to keep using your Trezor device just with a different software wallet (different than Trezor Suite)?
2. Or, are you trying to stop using your Trezor device and use a software wallet (hot wallet)?

For #1 you can any software wallet that supports HWI (hardware wallet interface) and „hidden wallet“ is not a concept that the software wallet needs to understand as you are entering your passphrase on your Trezor device itself (Trezor T I assume), so from the 3rd party wallet software point of view there is no difference: the software wallet asks your Trezor device for the master public key and the device provides that. Whether the public key was generated by the Trezor device via 12 words or 24 words or 24 words + passphrase is not something that is exposed to the software wallet at all. A public key is a public key. I use Sparrow with Trezor, for example, regularly, and it works with or without passphrase as expected.

For #2, the question is nothing to do with Trezor and „hidden wallet“. You simply have 24 words and a seedphrase (25th word), so any software wallet that lets you enter 24 words and a 25th word will do. Most wallet software, whether it’s Metamask, Sparrow, or anything else supports passphrases.

Yes this is a standardized format called BIP 39, and the hidden passphrase is simply a BIP 39 passphrase. Anything that claims to be BIP 39 or BIP 44 compliant will work.
