Seltsamer Fall einer falsch angezeigten (aber korrekt gesendeten) Zieladresse

Folgendes ist (reproduzierbar) auf meinem Nano X, aktuelle Firmware, passiert:

Ich versuche, XMR an eine Adresse zu senden, die wie folgt aussieht:

4Hx… (11 Zeichen) <string 1 (77 Zeichen)> <string 2 (18 Zeichen)>

Auf dem Gerät wird zur Bestätigung Folgendes angezeigt

48FN… (11 Zeichen) <Zeichenfolge 1 (77 Zeichen)> <Zeichenfolge 3 (6 Zeichen)>

Sie beginnt also anders, hat die gleichen 77 Zeichen in der Mitte und endet anders und kürzer.

Natürlich dachte ich sofort, dass irgendetwas an meiner Zwischenablage herumspielt (Trojaner/Virus oder was auch immer), also beschloss ich, trotzdem einen kleinen Betrag zu senden – und die XMR landete in der richtigen Originaladresse, so dass das, was das Gerät signierte, die richtige Adresse war.

Ich gehe also davon aus, dass es sich um ein Anzeigeproblem handelt, hat das schon mal jemand erlebt?

it sounds like the monero wallet ur using isn’t connected to ur ledger but if u were able to sign a transaction using the ledger this would imply it is connected.

take into account monero subaddresses start with „4“ prefix as opposed to „8“ (most monero wallets use the „8“ parent account formatting re: subaddresses starting with „4“).

Ledger has shown the „Standard XMR“ address for _years_ now. No idea why it hasn’t been fixed.

Go here https://xmr.llcoins.net/addresstests.html and put the normal address in Box 8, hit „Check Address“, then compare Box 15 to the address shown on the Ledger. If it matches you’re good to go.

That usually happens when the seed in your ledger is different from the seed you used to create the account .

You will need to recover the original seed to be able to send from this account.
