Problem mit dem Ledger Nano S

Nun, mein Ledger Nano S leuchtet nicht auf, wenn ich ihn an den Computer anschließe. Könnte die Batterie leer sein? Ich habe verschiedene PC und auch verschiedene Kabel versucht, aber immer noch kein Glück. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Batterie manuell zu wechseln, oder muss ich sie entweder zu Ledger schicken oder eine neue Hardware-Wallet kaufen? Ich habe sie nur ein paar Mal benutzt, seit ich sie gekauft habe. Wenn ich einen neuen Ledger kaufe, kann ich dann die Seed-Phrase des aktuellen Ledger wiederherstellen, der nicht mehr funktioniert?

There is no battery in the Nano S!!!

It only turns on when connected worh a usb cable.

Nano S are known to have a display unit that fails by becoming very dim or completely dead / dark.

You can check by connecting the ledger to your computer. If you hear a „dong“ sound or see the ledger in the connected devices list, that mean that the ledger works, and just its screen is dead.

You can also try connecting it in a completely dark room, and you may be able to see the very dim ledger screen

Replacing the screen on the nano s is easy and does not require any special tool. There are youtube video tutorials.

Or you could just buy another ledger and enter your 24 word recovery / seed phrase in it. If you opt for this solution, you should probably buy a Nano S-plus , as they have more memory so they can support mire cryptos apps installed at the time.

You need to get a new screen from Ali Express. But you need to make sure you get the right one, either 12 pin cable or 15 pin cable. I did a comment on this earlier. Have a look:

Buy a new one. Input your old seed and restore your addresses. Don’t send it anywhere for repair or anything like that, not worth the risk.
