Regarding certain extrinsic calls, as mentioned in the official Polkadot documentation ([here](https://support.polkadot.network/support/solutions/articles/65000179210-ledger-method-not-supported-)), there’s a chance that the specific extrinsic you’re attempting to issue isn’t supported by the XL or „light“ versions of the Polkadot application.
If this is the case, and you’re not able to sign the transaction with the „light“ or XL version of the application, you won’t be able to issue that specific extrinsic from this Ledger connected account.
Alternatively, if you are able to issue the aforementioned extrinsic, but the issue is with confirming the actual transaction – you should be getting a confirmation on your physical Ledger device’s screen – and you’ll want to confirm this transaction with the physical Ledger device.
You’ll want to make sure you have any crypto/web3 applications **closed** while you’re attempting this transaction with your Nano S device connected to the Polkadot Staking Dashboard (this includes Ledger Live).
