Gast::Technically, you only need the app installed to withdraw your coins. You could buy one of every supported coin and do the following (lengthy) process if you were that fired up:
1. Install App#1
2. Get next recieve address for coin#1 serviced by App#1
3. Depsosit coins#1 to App#1
4. Uninstall App#1
5. Install App#2
6. Repeat steps #2 to #4 for App#2 instead of App#1Would drive me crazy, but you can do it.

Gast::Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Ledger Support and I’d be happy to assist you with your request.
Yes, you can secure all your crypto assets with Ledger Hardware Wallets. Please note that your crypto assets are not stored inside the Ledger device or the Ledger Live application. Rather, they are stored on the blockchain. Your Ledger hardware wallet just holds the private keys that provide access to your funds on the blockchain.
To learn more please refer to this article: https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/where-are-my-coins
Both Ledger devices provide the same level of security and allow you to manage the same crypto-assets. Note that there is no limit in terms of value or number of coins that you can manage with both devices.
The two main differences between the Ledger Nano S and the Ledger Nano X are:
– Storage capacity: For each crypto-asset that you want to manage, you need to install its app on your Ledger hardware wallet. This lets you receive and send that crypto asset.
Ledger Nano S has a limited storage capacity, which allows you to install around 4 apps at the same time (depending on the apps you install). You can always safely uninstall and reinstall the apps, it does not affect your funds. The Ledger Nano X has a bigger storage capacity which is more convenient if you want to manage many crypto-assets without having to uninstall and reinstall apps regularly.
– Bluetooth: The Ledger Nano X features a Bluetooth connection which is useful if you plan to manage your crypto-assets from your smartphone.
Note that iPhone users cannot connect the Ledger Nano S via cable to their phone due to restrictions of the iPhone’s Lightning port. You should purchase a Ledger Nano X if you want to manage your crypto-assets on-the-go with an iOS mobile.

Gast::> Can I store multiple / different tokens for multiple / different blockchains on one Ledger device.
No. You need to understand that your cryptos are never stored in your ledger. They are always stored on the blockchains, on the Internet.
The only thing stored in your ledger is your seed (24 words + optional passphrase), i.e. your master private key that gives you full control of all the accounts derived from this seed. This said, you can secure as many tokens as you want with your ledger.
Apps on the ledger are just like lego-modules to extend the firmware, so that the ledger can interface with specific blockchains. You can remove and re-install apps at will, this has no effects on your cryptos, that are stored on the blockchains.
dApps are web-interface to crypto protocols or contracts, so they are completely unrelated to ledger apps.
