Ich habe gerade ein paar Apps auf dem neuen Ledger installiert, den ich gekauft habe. Danach habe ich die Firmware auf 2.0.2 aktualisiert.

Jetzt sind alle Apps, die ich installiert habe, verschwunden.

Passiert das bei jedem Update?

Wenn ich in jeder App Krypto hätte, wären sie dann auch verschwunden?

Yes, firmware updates always uninstall the apps first. Usually it automatically reinstalls the apps afterwards, but you can just install the apps back yourself if it didn’t.

>If i had crypto in each app, then would they have gone missing?

No. Your crypto isn’t in the app or on the device. The apps just let the device sign transactions with your seed phrase for that particular crypto’s blockchain. Reinstalling the app will restore full access to your crypto.

The crypto is not in the app… Or in the ledger.

The apps will reinstall.

But if they don’t, just reinstall them. The crypto is not going anywhere regardless of what happens to the ledger

I was uncertain my first update too.
