Ich kann meinen keepkey seit über 4 Monaten nicht mehr benutzen. Ich stehe seit fast 3 Monaten in Kontakt mit dem Support. Die letzte Antwort, die ich vom Keepkey-Support erhalten habe, ist unten aufgeführt. Glücklicherweise hatte ich den Seed gespeichert, so dass ich Jaxx Wallet verwendet habe, um meine Münzen wiederzubekommen. Warum sollte man ein Hard Wallet kaufen, wenn man nicht darauf zugreifen kann? Mein Keepkey schaltet sich ein, sobald er mit meinem Computer verbunden ist, aber die Keepkey-Wallet-App auf Google Chrome kann nicht mit der Keepkey-Hardware kommunizieren (was sie buchstäblich nutzlos macht). Als ich mit dem keepkey-Kundenservice in Kontakt trat, räumten sie das Problem ein, nachdem ich ihnen die Protokolldatei geschickt hatte, aber sie konnten es nicht lösen. Ich benutze ein MacBook, ich kann mich nicht zu Windows äußern, aber wenn sie dieses Problem nicht für mich lösen konnten, würden sie es dann auch für Sie lösen?
Letzte Nachricht vom Keepkey-Support nach 3 Monaten Kontakt mit ihnen: „Leider arbeitet unser Entwicklungsteam immer noch an diesem Problem. Es hat sich als komplexer erwiesen, als wir ursprünglich angenommen hatten. Ich verstehe, wie frustrierend dieses Problem ist und wie dringend Sie auf Ihr Geld zugreifen möchten. Es ist unsere Priorität, das Problem so schnell wie möglich zu beheben, und sobald dies geschehen ist, werde ich mich mit Ihnen in Verbindung setzen.“
Bitte bedenken Sie dies, bevor Sie den Kauf einer Keepkey-Wallet in Erwägung ziehen.
Ein weiterer Grund, Keepkey nicht zu kaufen, ist, dass KeepKey veraltet ist. Es gibt eine begrenzte Anzahl von Kryptowährungen, die von Keepkey unterstützt werden, im Gegensatz zu Ledger, das viel mehr Münzen bietet.

These are just bugs as they happen in almost all software. When Rockstar released GTA 5 for PC there were some people who had problems getting it running, although around 99% of people had no problem. As long as there are different hardware / software combinations there will always be bugs and problems.
That said, I use the KeepKey on my MacBook 2016 with High Sierra running without any problems. Just waiting eagerly for the new app and ERC20-Support early next year 🙂 -

/u/ZooGanger, you didn’t actually explain the situation in detail. I use Keep Key with Macbook and have no problem yet (I use the Chrome extension – still waiting on these people to release a native app or something).
Have you tried a different computer, yet?
I kinda wanna help you troubleshoot this just in case I run into the same problem.
Another question, have you considered that maybe you have a defective USB cable or maybe the wallet itself? If you have the mnemonic phrase, you may be able to restore it on another wallet (even if its a different brand) – i think.

I don’t know what you’re talking about because I have not had problems with any of my Apple PCs.
You should be aware that hardware wallets are not simple projects and you shouldn’t be so confident the grass is greener. Any of these companies could have problems and from what I’ve seen the Nano Blue has not been great either yet they are always sold out.
We’re still in the early days for crypto and these devices. Try to understand that simply whining on reddit isn’t going to magically make things better.
