Liebes Ledger,

Wir haben 2 ledger nano X gekauft. Einer (ich kaufte) in Europa, und der andere wurde von einem Familienmitglied in Dubai, UAE gekauft. Beide funktionieren perfekt und es gibt absolut kein Problem mit der Leistung oder Genuität. Sie wurden beide von Ledger Live verifiziert. Meine Frage ist nun: Was ist der Unterschied zwischen diesen beiden Modellen? Das in Frankreich, Paris, gekaufte Modell ist SCHWARZ (direkt von Ledger), und das in Dubai gekaufte Modell (von einem Händler) ist Orange? Ich habe auch die Fotos hier für Ihre Betrachtung beigefügt. Der Händler in Dubai sagte uns, dass das orangefarbene Gerät ein neueres Modell ist? Können Sie uns sagen, ob das stimmt?

One might be the new packaging, and the other thr old packaging.

Or it is different packaging for different countries and markets, which is extremely common.

Yes. The nano X comes in lots of colors, generally reflected on the packaging. Try to connect them to Ledger Live, if your nano passes its check, it’s legit.

If u generate ur 24 word recovery phrase with the ledger and it passes the genuine check then u r all good.

Most important part is that YOU generate the recovery phrase w the ledger from a fresh start and don’t use any words that are already loaded in it or written on the sheets (this would mean someone already set it up and it needs to be reset).

If u generate ur own 24 word recovery phrase and it passes genuine check – everything is safe

Hey,

Please note that both are the same models (Ledger Nano X).

The difference is only with the packaging and the color of the device. Apart from that, these devices are both equal and similar to each other in terms of functionalities.
