[Passphrases](https://www.ledger.com/academy/passphrase-an-advanced-security-feature) can be tricky and so it’s ideal to practice and exercise an understanding of how to use them before doing any real funding.
In this case you can establish and confirm the following information:
1. You have your 24 word recovery phrase.
2. You have your first PIN that was attached to your 24 word recovery phrase (the original PIN).
3. You have your second PIN that was attached to your 24 word recovery phrase – plus the passphrase enabled (the PIN you chose to set to the passphrase, specifically).
4. Importantly – you have your *passphrase* enabled on the device.
With all of this in in mind, you should be able to access the passphrase-associated accounts in question. It would be best to work deterministically, step by step with each PIN and with the passphrase enabled, and see which works as you try to access the same accounts from before.
This is a situation where you can hone down on the culprit at hand, you just need to keep track of which attempted PIN/passphrase combinations you’ve tried – and I’m confident you’ll be able to access your funds again.
If for any reason you aren’t able to access them and you still experience issues getting these accounts added back again, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our official support page – [here](https://support.ledger.com/) – we’re more than happy to help.
