Ich habe also heute einen neuen Nano X als Duplikat eingerichtet. Ich habe Recovery ausgewählt -> Habe meine 24 Seed-Wörter eingegeben. Dann wurden alle Wallets einfach in Ledger Live angezeigt. Ich dachte, ich müsste auch die Passphrase eingeben, denn das ist ja der Sinn dieses zusätzlichen „25.“ Wortes zusätzlich zu den 24?

Wahrscheinlich habe ich das bei der Einrichtung auf meinem alten Gerät nicht richtig gemacht. Ich habe die Passphrase aktiviert, nachdem ich bereits einige Geldbörsen erstellt hatte. Aber trotzdem wurde mindestens ein BTC-Konto erstellt, nachdem die Passphrase aktiviert wurde. Was fehlt mir, damit das funktioniert?

If I’m not mistaken, Ledger Live shows you all your accounts, regardless of what ledger devices you plug in. You can even use Ledger Live without the device and receive payments. It’s only once you send a payment, you require the device. So you are probably just seeing everything regardless of the backup device.

So if you try to send a payment with the new device, it will fail if that wallet account was associated with a passphrase on the original device.

If you want to test this from a new Ledger Live, use another computer or create a new local user account on your PC. Then see if you can recover your wallet account with the new device, first without the passphrase, and if that doesn’t work, use the passphrase.

Also note the PIN and password on your computer does not need to be the same.

I also have two ledgers and two different accounts.
What I did is to put in front of Crypto address which ledger I am using.

For example I have 2 address for BTC I named them like this:

NLS BITCOIN – that means that is BTC address in my Nano S
NLX Bitcoin – that means it is address for BTC on Nano Ledger X

Setting up a passphrase generates new addresses using the 24 words + your phrase. I’m guessing you didn’t move your assets to these new addresses and just left them on the original addresses (24 words only).

Which is why they show up on the new device without the passphrase.
