I have to agree: Ledger build quality is now rubbish.
Luckily I bought an S back in 2017 which is still working perfectly (and will hopefully be that way for many years)
If it breaks, I will be looking for other options

I like how my S is more simple than the X. it might be made up of The same material, but it has less parts to assemble. I have never had a problem with it yet.

It costs like 5$ to produce and ship that ledger and they charge you like 150 € for it! Ledger became a fucking mess and I am seriously considering switching to competitors like Tresor or BitBox.

I’ve received 2 faulty devices now within the last 5 months and still waiting on the third. I can’t transfer my funds out of ledger live because it has taken them over 2 months to send me another replacement. They keep saying they need the device first before they send me another replacement but then mention the device is “held up in customs”. I’m so upset that I trusted this dogshit company with my crypto. They looked so promising but have been nothing but disappointment.

It doesn’t mean because it’s made in china it’s bad quality. iPhone is made in China and probably 90% in my house.
Also the box says made in France not China. Don’t blame China you idiot. Probably the shipping company who handles the shipment tossed it outside the plane or threw heavy boxes on top of that box whatever 😂😂😂
