so lets say the words you get are blip blop bloop. you have 2 different ledger devices. you create from words on both devices. write blip blop bloop and create your account. now you have 2 ledger devices with blip blop bloop seed. you can plug in either one and you will get the same numbers every time. so answer is yes, because all your ledger devices come from blip blop bloop, get it? your ledger device is only a tool. a tool to access all your funds. but only the funds with the words blip blop bloop. if anyone finds your words or you expose it online in any way then all your funds will be stolen! so only use paper and metal, people.
your last question– there’s a 99% chance it was poor seed or poor seed and passphrase management.

when u sign a malicious smart contract, ur granting permission 4 the contract to drain from a certain account and more specific (a certain function over) a token – meaning you can have an account be compromised but only for a certain token.

also means if u have tons of diff eth accounts and u sign a malicious transaction from 1 account all of ur other accounts are safe.

on the flipside if ur recovery phrase is compromised and u have multiple accounts from that 1 phrase then yeah all the funds are at risk
