Ich dachte, ich würde hier fragen, bevor ich in den größeren Subreddits frage.

Ich habe einige Münzen, die ich auf Coinbase gekauft und auf meinen Ledger verschoben habe. Ich möchte sie jetzt in BTC umwandeln.

Ich dachte mir, ich könnte sie entweder zurück zu Coinbase verschieben, sie dann zum Kauf von BTC verwenden und dann die BTC zu meinem Ledger verschieben, oder ich könnte sie mit einem Dienst wie simpleswap.ion tauschen.

Das Problem ist nur, dass ich nicht weiß, wie ich feststellen kann, welche Methode die billigste wäre.

Was kann jeder empfehlen?

Send to CB, make the trade and withdraw. This is the cheapest option. Or use a cross chain on the fly DEX with more fees but you always own the coins.

In addition, swap sites like fixedfloat, etc are not DEXs, they own the coin when you send them. You wish them to finalize the trade. In most cases they do but they may not and hold your coins. So, beware of the bad reputation ones.

The coinbase swapping functionality uses 0x protocol. Matcha.xyz is a front end app by the same team. Use matcha directly so no to move back to coinbase.

I tried to figure it out. They do not make it easy. You will pay a fee to send from Ledger to exchange, then maybe a commission to sell token to cash then to buy Btc with cash, on the exchange. Then, another fee to send Btc back to Ledger. So, try to add all that up and see how it compares to the high fee of swapping you tokens directly on Ledger. I think it’s close, but maybe a little cheaper to go the, exchange route. Good luck
