I would suggest picking something very secure, just write it down and store it in a couple of places, separate from where you store the seed phrase.

The best practice for the 25th word is not to choose a word. Treat it like a password, a set of characters that only makes sense to you, just like you choose passwords for other services. You can write it down and store it, but not on the same location as your mnemonic phrase.
