Ledger makes a great product, I would recommend not opting into the recover feature but that’s just me.

I moved all my BTC off my ledger and I’m probably going to send my remaining balance out as well, there are just better wallets out there that are open source and just much more secure especially if you’re just holding BTC. Wallets that support a ton of shitcoins im just going to stay away from them going forward, having to interact with all the shitcoin blockchains weakens the overall security of the ledger, trezor among other wallets like ellipal and secux, wallets I would never trust with my funds. Imagine waking up one morning to find your wallet has been hacked, my point is if you’re holding substantial amounts of crypto you really need to trust the wallet you’re using and as of late I can’t say I trust the ledger like I once did
