Wenn Sie also die Ledger Live-App auf Ihrem Telefon haben. Nehmen wir an, jemand stiehlt Ihr Telefon. Haben sie nicht leichten Zugang zu deiner Wallet. Und sie könnten sich selbst Ihre Kryptowährung schicken? Wann kommt die Seed-Phrase eigentlich zum Einsatz? Ich habe sie sicher aufbewahrt, aber ich scheine sie nie benutzen zu müssen.

If somebody steal your phone and somehow unlock it (very unlikely) all they can do is watch your portfolio. To send out tokens they need your Ledger Nano and unlock it (nearly impossible, after 3 pin attempt the device delete itself).

To sum up, it easier to guess your 24 word, which is still nearly impossible.

Hey, the 24 words recovery phrase are the keys to your funds, in case anything happens to your device and you get a new one, you will restore access to funds on it with the previous 24. So anyone with the 24 words can take access of funds

Your funds are never on the Ledger, Ledger Live, or installed apps, they are on the blockchain protected by your offline generated 24 words recovery phrase: [https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/where-are-my-coins](https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/where-are-my-coins)

If the device gets stolen, the thief has 3 PIN tries, after that it will factory reset erasing all apps, 24 words, and PIN it previously held, prompting to set it up as new afterwards.

If someone had your phone, sure they can open the Ledger Live app and see the balance, but they can’t send without having the physical Ledger device connected and PIN unlocked to manually confirm the transaction on the Ledger itself. Okay. Thank you sooo much. That clears it up. I thought you COULD send funds without the nano device. Since I’ve certainly received funds without having access to the device.

the keys are stored in the ledger……the ledger is needed to sign the transaction
