Zunächst einmal, Betrüger, ich tippe meine 24-Wort-Phrase nicht auf meinem Computer, also bleiben Sie weg.
Ich habe gerade ein Video von einer Frau gesehen, die Tausende von Dollar an einen Hacker verloren hat, was mich dazu veranlasst hat, meinen eigenen Kontostand zu überprüfen. Als ich meinen Nano S einsteckte, bemerkte ich, dass mein Bildschirm kaputt war, aber es gab einen kleinen sichtbaren Bereich. Ich habe im Internet nachgeschaut und herausgefunden, dass dies für den Nano S-Bildschirm üblich ist. Anscheinend ist es sehr einfach, es selbst zu reparieren. Nachdem ich den Bildschirm online bestellt hatte, beschloss ich, mein Bestes zu geben, die richtige PIN einzugeben und einen Blick auf meinen Kontostand zu werfen. Das war ein Fehler. Nicht wissend (und vergessend), dass nach 3 falschen Versuchen die Seed-Phrase aus dem Ledger gelöscht wird, habe ich genau das getan. Jetzt brauche ich die Zusicherung der Ledger-Benutzer, dass ich in der Lage sein werde, meine Geldbörse auf einem neuen Ledger Nano X mit Seed-Phrase wiederherzustellen, der am 23.09.08 kommt.

Mir gehen einige Dinge durch den Kopf, die bei der Wiederherstellung schief gehen können. Bitte lassen Sie mich wissen, wo ich falsch liegen könnte. 1. Beim Einrichten eines neuen Ledger-Gerätes werden 24 Seed-Phrasen auf dem Computer angezeigt, richtig? Ich habe sie aufgeschrieben und die Schreibweise dreimal überprüft, so habe ich es in Erinnerung. 2. Wir können alle 24 Phrasen auf dem Ledger-Gerät auswählen, bevor es vollständig eingerichtet ist, richtig? 3. Ist es möglich, dass die 24 Sätze, die auf dem Computerbildschirm angezeigt werden, sich aufgrund eines Fehlers von denen auf dem Ledger-Gerät unterscheiden?
Ich wusste bis heute nicht, dass es die Recovery Check App für Ledger gibt. Ich werde sie aktualisieren, wenn ich mein Portemonnaie wiederherstellen konnte oder nicht. Bitte beten Sie für mich.
**Update 08/09/23:** Danke, dass Sie meine Angst in Schach halten. Ich werde nicht lügen, sie hat mich beschlichen, als ich frei war und nichts getan habe. Der Blick auf die Kommentare in diesen Zeiten hat mir definitiv geholfen. Ich habe heute erfolgreich meine Wallet mit Hilfe des 24-Wörter-Satzes wiedergefunden.

No. The 24 word phrase is displayed on the ledger device during setup.

No, as long as you wrote it down correctly.
If you made an error, then there are still ways to recover, but it requires some work.
To recover, just re-enter your 24 word recovery seed phrase in your ledger. That’s all!

Huge important thing that people seem to be forgetting right now! If your device is damaged and you need to setup a new ledger live or any other software. DO NOT ENTER YOUR SEED INTO THE SOFTWARE ONLY ON THE HARDWARE. Make sure you downloaded an authentic ledger live or other wallet software and only enter the 24 words on your hardware when setting it up

The 24 words recovery phrase is only generated once during set-up on your Ledger device screen, and only you are the ones who see’s it unless you compromise it digitally. Note that your seed phrase is your master private key in any way that matters. This is important, because you don’t need a new ledger to recover those funds. You could do so with any other hardware or software wallet that accepts BIP39 seed phrases, which is almost all of them.
This is important, because if you thought the seed had been compromised you might need/want to sweep the funds to a new wallet in the interim. Waiting on a new ledger should be fine, but it’s not your only option. Likely the safest, though.

1. At NO point of setting, resetting or recovering your Ledger wallet, your 24-word phrase is shown/being displayed on a computer screen.
2. On initial setup, the ledger picks 24 random words. Each time you reset it, it picks another set of 24 random words, unless you select to recover your phrase. In that case, you select your own 24 words and set it in the Ledger device.
3. At NO point of setting, resetting or recovering your Ledger wallet, your 24-word phrase is shown/being displayed on a computer screen.
4. It’s really easy to restore from recovery phrase, just make sure you follow the videos from ledger support website. If at any point you see any part of your phrase on a computer screen, don’t continue. -

the 24 words are shown on the physical ledger device (plugged into ur computer).
they are NEVER shown on the computer itself.
recovery check app lets u verify that the ledger u have plugged in has the correct words corresponding to it (depending on how u wrote them down when u first set up the ledger and it generated the words for u).
