      Ich bin gerade darauf hereingefallen und habe einige Bitcoin von meinem Nano S auf den Zeretex-Austausch eingezahlt (etwa $150). Jetzt, wo ich weiß, dass es Betrug ist, mache ich mir Sorgen, dass sie in der Lage sein könnten, mehr Geld von meinem Nano abzuheben… ist das möglich? Ich habe meinen Seed oder ähnliches nicht preisgegeben, aber ich bin ziemlich neu bei Kryptos und möchte sichergehen! Jeder Einblick wird nützlich sein, und ich bin sicher, wird auch anderen helfen! Danke

      I think you’re ok if you haven’t typed your seed anywhere as you would have to allow a transaction on the ledger itself?

      As long as you didn’t type in your seed on their site or on any form they gave you, you should be safe. Did you just send the bitcoin to an address they gave you, or did you interact with some kind of contract?

      Why 🙄 cmon people keep it simple in crypto dont do anything apart from buying from reliable exchange and sending to cold storage

      I’m really sorry to hear that this happened u/Rich_Excitement_8709 – scams are prevalent nowadays, but now you’ll only be that much more aware and cautionary – a valuable lesson learned!

      Importantly, as long as it was just you depositing funds into a sketchy exchange, your other assets related to your Ledger are safe.

      In this case, if you never shared your [24 word recovery phrase](https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/what-is-a-recovery-phrase) – you literally just deposited funds into another account – your Ledger and any Ledger-derived accounts are absolutely safe.

      Remember, the most important thing is keeping your 24 word recovery phrase safe. This is the literal set of private keys to your crypto – and ***anyone*** with access to your 24 word recovery phrase will be able to control and steal your funds.

      At least I don’t have to worry about a scam, I still haven’t received my pre-ordered STAX! Going on months!
