If you entered the 24 word recovery phrase at any point in time into the Temple wallet, you’ll want to generate a new recovery phrase with your physical Ledger device – as you’ve exposed the one generated by your Ledger to the internet (and this can put your funds at risk).
Thankfully, all you would need to do in this situation is send your funds to another temporary wallet, reset your Ledger device (you can do this by entering the PIN incorrectly 3 times) and then generate a fresh, new recovery phrase.
Importantly, make sure you *never* type or enter the 24 word recovery phrase into any sort of digital application or software. There are fake phishing versions of software out there – as well as the possibility of your computer having viruses.
For future reference as well – you can always connect your Ledger to the Temple wallet as a hardware-connected device in a safe and secure manner (we have more information over this, [here](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403610848401-Set-up-and-use-Temple-to-access-your-Ledger-Tezos-XTZ-account?docs=true)).
