Administrator::Das ist eine Frage an mich selbst, aber auch eine Diskussion für alle.
Ohne Bluetooth-Verbindung, und wenn ich jede Wiederherstellungssoftware verweigern, und vorausgesetzt, meine Schlüssel sind sicher und richtig gespeichert, bin ich sicher mit nur einem Ledger nano S? Ist es wahr, dass sie auf meine Seed-Phrase zugreifen können, wenn sie wollten?

Gast::As long as your [24 word recovery phrase](https://www.ledger.com/academy/crypto/what-is-a-recovery-phrase) is written down and safely stored, your assets are safe as well (you can always use it to [restore](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382560913-Restore-your-Ledger-accounts-with-your-recovery-phrase?support=true) your funds into another Ledger device, or any BIP39-compliant wallet).
The Ledger Recover service is not yet available – and importantly, when it is released, it will be ***completely optional*** and ***disabled by default*** – and users are by no means obligated to utilize the service.
If you’re curious to learn more about the Ledger Recover service, we have more supplementary information, [here](https://www.ledger.com/academy/what-is-ledger-recover).

Gast::The point of a hardware wallet is cold storage, which means it should be impossible to get the seed out of your device by plugging it into your pc. That is not the case with Ledger. So, are you probably OK using it with crypto worth a few thousand Dollars? Maybe. Would anyone in his right mind recommend Ledger for a substantial amount of money? Hell, no.

Gast::No/yes.
It’s true that there’s no firmware that can recover your private keys from that device. But the major part of the controversy is the reversal of the claim that it’s impossible to instead be a claim of, of course it’s possible, you’re just trusting ledger not to.
One concern is ledger having access to your key shards. The other is that they had said it was impossible to get them out, but later amended to say it was always possible, but they haven’t deployed firmware that would do it. So, your security is unchanged, but your knowledge of your security has.

Gast::One thing I did for extra security on my nano s is setup the extra 25th passphrase. Uses a different pin and has a custom passphrase you can make so even if they do somehow find access to your 24 word recovery phrases they’ll need the extra 25th passphrase to get into any account you put under that passphrase. Has separate pin too. There’s a YouTube video from ledger explaining how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jiqFYFi698
