      Ist dieses Update von Ledger? Die Meldung „New Ledger Live update available, it will install automatically when you close the app“ (Neues Ledger Live-Update verfügbar, wird automatisch installiert, wenn Sie die App schließen), ist das Update & Meldung von Ledger? Bitte antworten Sie mir.

      Ich meine, ist das automatische Update des Ledger-Geräts auf 2.66 automatisch von Ledger, sobald wir die App schließen?

      That may be an important update to fix a critical issue.

      In any case, ledger live is not important,
      It has no access to your coins (they are stored on the blockchain, and secured by your ledger device, not by ledger live).

      As I understand it, one of the recent updates (but prior to the current 2.66.0 update) to Ledger Live mentioned in the Release Notes that it would enable Ledger Live to install future updates to the Leader Live app automatically. This only affects the Ledger Live app and does not install any updates on your hardware device – you still have to approve those updates.

      There is no auto-update of the ledger device firmware.

      This has to be a Windows PC. I’m sure the Linux version can’t do that.

When a new version of Ledger Live is available, it will automatically download and install once you close the app. This is a feature designed to keep your Ledger Live up to date with the latest features and security enhancements. The latest version as of August 17, 2023, is Ledger Live 2.66.
