  Ich habe meinen Ledger gestern aktualisiert und musste auch LedgerLive auf meinem Computer neu einrichten, und ich erhalte die Meldung: missing required app the ethereum app is required to complete this action. Bitte gehen Sie zu My Ledger und installieren Sie sie auf Ihrem Gerät. Wenn ich die benötigte App installieren möchte, erhalte ich diese Aufforderung: nicht genügend Speicherplatz. Ich bin also ratlos, alle meine Konten (BTC, LTC, ETH) passten vorher auf dieses Gerät. Was nun? Was soll ich tun und was ist passiert? Wurde mein Gerät einfach überflüssig gemacht?

  You need to uninstall and reinstall different apps on your wallet as needed. You wont lose any of your crypto… just makes it inconvenient.

  Your cryptos and accounts are stored on the blockchains, not in your ledger.
  
  Un-installing and re-installing apps on the ledger had no effect what so ever on your balances.

  It tells you on the product page how many apps/coins it can store etc, thats why I purchased the Nano X… it costs more but it can store a lot of coins/apps

  I had that happen with the first generation ledger I didn’t touch for years. It’s basically done by the ledger team to make you buy a new one. Mine too fit a lot more than two apps at the same time, but with a new update it limits you to only two.

  So, to clarify, both BTC and ETH are 2 apps each? When I added the Bitcoin account, it said there wasn’t enough room for the ethereum. But I WAS able to add litecoin. To my somewhat unkempt mind, the reason the ETH won’t fit is because btc and eth are actually 4 accounts, and the nano s can’t hold that many accounts? It certainly seems like they used the update to obsolete my shit. It all fit on the damn thing BEFORE the update. In fact, I haven’t updated the app on my phone yet, and I can still see the eth in the Ledger Live app on it.

  When the S first came out there weren’t a lot of 💩 coins. Now there are. If the design was on purpose to make you buy a new one, very clever and ingenuity should be applauded.
