Administrator::Hallo!

Gast::Hey – When you set up your Ledger device, it generates a unique 24-word recovery phrase that is used to secure all the private keys for the cryptocurrencies you store on the device. This includes Hedera (HBAR) when you use it with Hashpack.
If you lose your Hashpack seed phrase, you will not lose your HBAR coins as long as you have your Ledger device and its 24-word recovery phrase. However, you may lose access to the Hashpack wallet itself.
You cannot set the Ledger seed to be the one provided from Hashpack Wallet. The Ledger device generates its own unique seed phrase during setup, and this cannot be changed to a different one.
As for deleting your Hashpack wallet after connecting it to Ledger, it’s important to note that your HBAR coins are stored on the blockchain, not in the wallet. The wallet is just a way to access them. If you delete your Hashpack wallet, you will not lose your HBAR coins as long as you have your Ledger device and its 24-word recovery phrase. However, you may lose access to any features specific to the Hashpack wallet.
Best way to secure your tokens is to set up your Ledger with 24 words seed phrase and then connect your Ledger to Hashpack and create the account. More info here

Gast::You will end up with two different Hbar accounts. The one you set up on hashpack initially is going to be a Hbar hot wallet. Use it or not. Your choice but it is hot and not protected by ledger. The other account you set up with the ledger is you ledger protected cold Hbar account. You will see two different Hbar addresses, one for the hot wallet and one for the ledger. Name the ledger one “ledger” or something so you know. Send your Hbar to the ledger account mostly for ledger protection and best to stake from you ledger account. Play around with small transactions to get the hang of it and make sure it’s all working.
Losing the hot seed will not affect anything in the ledger account. This seed is only good for this account. Nothing to use ledger with it.
You always just use the seed embedded in your ledger for all ledger accounts anywhere. You should not try to use any other seeds to be your ledger seed. If you did this you make your ledger a hot wallet and defeats the purpose since that seed was generated online. The seed at ledger setup is only the one you set up the ledger account with by using the ledger device. Do not ever type your ledger seed anywhere.
You can delete the wallet on pc but I would not bother. It’s protected by ledger. Also you will need to have access to hashpack to claim staking rewards.
