Gast::Yes, you can export your private key for any currency that’s supports it.

Gast::the 24-word recovery seed phrase is your master key (bip39 mnemonic), and you can enter it in any wallet to recover access.
But it is NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL to enter it in a software of phone wallet, as it would put all your cryptos at risk. Only enter your seed phrase in a hardware wallet.
> I am wondering, is it possible to get the actual recover phrase of my BTC
this is the recovery phrase for your BTC (and all your other cryptos). Although is it NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, you could enter it in a BTC software wallet like Electrum to get access to your BTC.
There is no way to export individual private keys from the ledger, e.g. you cannot export your BTC account Extended Private Key, but you can generate it from your seed phrase, in case you need it for a particular reason. e.g. you could do that with the ian coleman bip39 tool, running the tool on an airgapped machine in an amnesiac environment like Tails (otherwise, you risk leaking your seed!!!).

Gast::Don’t think too deep into it or you’ll confuse yourself.
– the 24 word phrase is used to recreate the private key, that will retrieve/approve your transactions.
-the 4/8 pin is just a security layer to prevent physical access. If the pin is incorrectly entered 3 times the unit will reset and you’ll need the 24 word phrase to recover.
When you use ledger live with your ledger-x, the app will search for all BTC addresses related to your private key (that’s been generated with 24 word phrase).
Same with Ethereum app/accounts. The ledger live will search for active accounts as your main 0x address.
So basically keep the 24 word key safe. You’ll likely get tons of private messages with people offering you help and FAKE ledger support. They’re just after your 24 words to empty your wallet.
Also, do not enter/expose the 24 words into any app. The 24 words only go into the physical ledger unit to generate the private key. Fake apps will ask for your words to empty your wallet.
Finally DO NOT put the 24 words into metamask. If you want to use ledger with metamask for Ethereum, you can connect your wallet. It does NOT ask for your 24 words!

Gast::Hey – The purpose of the recovery phrase is to allow you to restore your entire wallet on a new or reset device in case of loss, damage, or theft of your Ledger Nano X. It acts as a backup for all the wallets and associated private keys stored on the device.
Each app on the Ledger Nano X, such as the Bitcoin wallet app, generates its own set of private keys using a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet derivation path. The device securely stores these private keys, and the recovery phrase is used to recreate them.
However, the recovery phrase does not directly reveal the private keys or the specific recovery phrase for individual wallets. The recovery phrase is designed to be kept offline and secure to prevent unauthorized access to your funds.
To recover a specific wallet without the Ledger Nano X or its recovery phrase, you would typically need to import the specific private key or use a compatible wallet that supports the same HD wallet derivation path. It’s important to note that directly exposing or sharing the recovery phrase or private keys greatly increases the risk of unauthorized access to your funds, so it’s crucial to handle this information with extreme caution and follow best security practices.
This article explains this in more detail.

Gast::As u/chuoni rightly states, the 24 word recovery phrase is the actual recovery phrase. There is no other recovery phrase inside the ledger wallet.
Try sticking the 24 word recovery phrase into another BIP39 bitcoin wallet, and you should 1) get the same wallet address as what you have on the ledger, and 2) whatever coins you may already have on it.
**IMPORTANT**
Also, if you do get your private key for your first wallet, know that that is just the private key for the first wallet. It does not let you recover the other wallets derived from the recovery phrase.
So, don’t throw away your recovery phrase thinking that the private key is all you need, esp if you have coins in secondary wallets derived/created after the first one.
