What does that mean for staked cryptos like Dot? Do I have to unbond my Dot from the selected validators then transfer it to the new set of hidden account and rebond it or am I getting wrong something.

Some people keep a small amount of crypto in the non-pass phrase accounts and the majority of their crypto on the pass phrase accounts. This is to protect your funds in the case where someone is physically threatening you to give them your pin. In this case, they’ll only see the non-pass phrase accounts.

Yes to all the above. Just make sure you will always be able to remember your passphrase. (it’s not something you can look up on a list, it’s anything you make up, like eg. *&^T&UYTV&Y%TfYTUIGOUIYT&^TGUYOGOU&T*&yhjhiuhhello could be a passphrase)
