Nach dem Vergleich von Keepkey mit Trezor und allen Schattierungen von Ledger-Hardware-Wallets bleibt Keepkey immer noch am besten, weil es für neue Leute, die in die Kryptowährung einsteigen, einfach zu benutzen ist. Ein Rückschlag, auf den ich immer wieder gestoßen bin, ist jedoch, dass Keepkey für die meisten der großen Wallets von Drittanbietern nicht verfügbar ist. Zum Beispiel Metamask. Keepkey hat das Potenzial, massenhaft angenommen zu werden, wenn es auch leicht in die Kern-Wallets anderer Projekte integriert werden kann. Stellen Sie sich vor, wenn Cardano auf Keepkey verfügbar ist und Keepkey auch leicht in Daedalus oder Yoroi integriert werden kann. BNB ist zwar verfügbar, aber stellen Sie sich vor, dass keepkey auch auf BinanceDex verwendet werden kann. Es gibt keine besondere Eigenschaft von Ledger oder Trezor, die für mich attraktiv ist, außer der Tatsache, dass man sie auf den meisten Wallets von Drittanbietern verwenden kann. Die Dezentralisierung gibt ein Gefühl der Freiheit. Stellen Sie sich vor, wenn die Shapeshift-Website ausfällt, bedeutet das, dass mein Keepkey dann nutzlos ist. Wer auch immer hinter dem Marketing von Keepkey/Shapeshift steht, muss innovativ denken. Zentralisierung ist ein Hauptkiller für die Massenadoption. Nur meine ehrliche Meinung. Übrigens, selbst wenn mir jemand Ledger Nano S oder Trezor schenken würde, würde ich immer noch Keepkey wählen.

Both the KeepKey Firmware and the communication layer, HD Wallet, are both open source. In fact, if a Dapp integrates our HD wallet, they are integrated with Ledger, Trezor, KeepKey and Portis all at once! https://shapeshift.com/developer-portal. There are a few developers right now leveraging HD Wallet for the new platforms they are building.
If ShapeShift’s Platform is down for any reason, you do have options 1) you always recover onto another BIP44 compatible wallet (less ideal) or 2) use another wallet that has already has a KeepKey integration like Electrum, MyEtherWallet, Magnum wallet, etc.

Carsen, founder of denarius, is working on integrating keepkey into a custom nodejs backend using webusb to communicate with the keepkey. Trying to figure out signing right now, but this could be a way any devs could easily bring their own custom client into the community. Hoping someone spots this and might be able to help.

Of the 3 you mentioned I would choose Ledger for the better security compared to KeepKey. However I just purchased a SafePal [https://www.safepal.io/](https://www.safepal.io/) It does not connect to any computer or mobile so it is 100% offline unlike KeepKey and it is backed by Litecoin Foundation and Binance is an investor so that gives it some credibility. Not to mention because Binance is an investor you can swap between coins very easily inside the SafePal app. It also have some very cool safety features unlike KeepKey.
