There will always be phishing emails one way or another. No knock on the hardware.

There are plenty of better reasons to pick a Ledger device, I don’t think that’s a good one

I never bought a Trezor and yet still received the phishing email. Might be a spam carpet bomb instead of a breach?

I can only find a breach from April 2022.

The official reply will probably be that it’s not a Trezor database breach, but a breach at the level of one of the service providers dealing with the orders/payments/shipment. Same old same old 😉

I learned to accept that all our data is out there.

Look at it from the bright side: my data was leaked because of Ledger about 2-3 times now, so I guess i can order a Trezor now as long as I just use the same shipping details and contact details that Ledger already leaked in 2020 xD (or Dropbox/twitter/…)

You do realize Ledger had the same thing happen 2 or 3 years ago?

Update: Multiple pfishing attempts are now being received by Trezor buyers. This means the Trezor client database has been sold to multiple spammers. A partial list of the sources of the pfishing email domains is:
