      Vielen Dank!

EDIT: Ich habe eine Tonne DMs bekommen. Ich werde nicht auf DMs antworten. Bitte nur kommentieren.

Do you recall how you generated your eth address back then? Was it via the Chrome app? My Ether Wallet?

I’d try connecting your ledger to MEW wallet and check both (legacy and Ledger Liver) available derivation paths.

Try connecting the wallet to a dapp like uniswap. Connect the ledger and see if it shows in your balance when making a swap. For some reason some of my holdings wont show in my ledger balance however they’re are definitely there. Let us know if this is successful.

Yeah all my funds were taken. I made a stupid mistake of entering my seed phrase where I shouldn’t of when I activated my ledger

Have you tried checking your eth address here, [https://etherscan.io/](https://etherscan.io/)… this is how I’ve checked my balance on the blockchain to confirm. Maybe there’s a better way, but this works. This won’t help you access the address, but at least you’ll know if there are still funds in it or not

It is most likely a derivation path issue. You can connect your ledger with either Metamask (Connect to hardware wallet) or try f.e. [https://www.myetherwallet.com/wallet/access](https://www.myetherwallet.com/wallet/access).
Maybe at first install you did not select the most obvious address, but maybe a few pages further on the address tree to hide it a little and maybe you forgot about this…

You’re doing something wrong. Your seed phrase should recover all your assets

Go to accounts, add account, add the Ethereum account again, balance should appear there, happened to me and alot of people when updating or installing the software back in the pc.

Post the account number on etherscan this will confirm whether or not account is intact. DMs are posted by bots, telling them to stop is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle. Turn off DM.

get metawallet browser plugin and connect it – your private keys won’t be exposed. I had to use this method to do transactions on my eth a few days ago when ledger live refused to submit any transactions I signed.

Use Metamask like people have said. You have not lost your Ethereum. A lot has changed in five years.

Could be a legacy ETH address with an index greater than 1. Ledger live might not see that when scanning for ETH addresses. Connect to Metamask and see if it shows up under the Legacy derivation path option.

Incidentally, here is what ledger says to do about the „MCU not genuine“ message.

      https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405497803153-MCU-firmware-is-not-genuine?support=true

Idk I’d you tried this, but maybe getting the old device (if you still have it) working through these steps will free up your ETH if you still are having trouble accessing it on the new device.
